Removing the Board

It appears that the board didn't like our third sign being displayed, so they removed it again. The covenants don't say that we can't post our signs on the common area, so it seems like theft to me. Looks like it's time to get a new board in place.

Section 3.6 of the bylaws states the following:

So, we don't need a certain number of people from the community to show up to the annual meeting to make this happen. We just need the majority of the people who attend, to vote these people out. Their egos are too big and they need to be dropped down a peg or two.

I can only speak for the sign that was at the Berkely Lake stop sign -- but it might help your cause if the signs didn't look so HORRIBLE. Please invest $1 in a piece of poster board, find someone who can write NEATLY, and try re-posting. I can't blame the board for removing something so extremely tacky-looking.

I can only speak to how I feel about this comment. The point of this blog is to give the people of Chastain the ability to speak back and forth on issues since we don't get that ability at any other community meeting. And, I've decided not to speak as to the complete and utter lake of respect and rudeness of your posting that perhaps a writing class might help. In addition, we don't stop ANYONE from putting up signs for the blog. We'd LOVE for other people to put up signs just in their section of the neighborhood. It gets expensive and very time consuming having to constantly make new signs that are just going to be stolen.
